New Coffee Beans on the Way

I ordered new coffee beans Friday. Trying some new ones. Indonesia, Ecuador and Columbia. Here's the list.

Last Update: 2012-07-04 11:22:19

List of the new green beans on order:

Java Kajumas Organic Taman Dadar - 5 lbs

Low acidity and lots of body is the theme here. Bass-note flavor profile, thick and dense mouthfeel body, tree-bark herbs, mossy forest floor notes, mulling spices, molasses sweetness. Full City to Full City+ to Vienna.

Ecuador Organic Espindola Small Producers - 2 lbs

This is a lot from 3 small producers in the Espindola area. The cup has caramelized sugar sweetness, vanilla, stone fruits, light body, root beer spice accent in the finish as it cools. I think it expresses the Typica cultivar flavor well. City to Full City.

Colombia Finca Buenavista -Carlos Imbachi - 2 lb

From one of the small award-winning producers we work with directly, 1st place in Coffee of the Year at SCAA in 2009 and 2010! A very sweet coffee, fruited with guava, strawberry, peach, tamarind, plum, floral aromatics, honey and cane sugar. City to City+ roast is ideal but works at darker levels too.
