Abstract
The essential question is to research and describe many links between music and mathematics, historically and today.
Another essential question is the Triangles / HOMER's HYPOTHESIS, a pathfinder exercise to explain Homer Simpson and the Man in the Stall's COUNTER HYPOTHESIS about isosoles and right triangles.
Another question is to explain the process of solving a quadratic equation by the method of “completing the square.”  Do this with algebraic notation, including examples.  Do this by geometric construction.  Give an example ancient application of this.  Give an example of current applications of this.
