SOUTHLAKE (Southlake Journal) – The city council approved plans this week for 140 more residences in Southlake’s Town Square.
Before the vote, the maximum number of houses allowed in the shopping center was 115. Now, up to 185 homes can be built there.
The Garden District project is planned on 10.7 acres just off SH 114. Up to 130 of the owner-occupied homes will be developed in multiunit buildings three-stories high.
The remaining ten units will be similar to the current brownstones with attached garages and small yards.
Construction could begin as early as next year.
